It is an effective bio insecticide based on fungi Verticillium lecanii found in the soil.

Process of protecting crops from diseases by using Patanjali Varti:

• The spores of Verticillium make germ tube while coming in contact with the body of insects. The germ tube secretes enzymes to destroy cuticle of insects when entered into the body.


• The Verticillium destroys the insects whose immune system gets diminished. The insects die in 2-4 days.


• It also boosts immune system of the plants and secretes (2-4 DA PG) which is useful to control diseases.


• The healthy insects die spontaneously while coming in contact with an infected insects.
